GENERAL INFORMATION
A calm presence 24/7
Support that respects your independence
At Kenilworth, independence comes first. Support is part of the scaffolding – there if and when you need or want it. You might want a hand changing a light globe or help with other small tasks around the home.
Perhaps you need assistance with your social media profile or FaceTime calls with the grandkids. Or maybe you simply fancy a cuppa and a chat in the afternoon sun. Literally, it’s your call.
Our wonderful team consider themselves like extended family and friends to the residents in the village and are there to support you however they can.
Every villa, unit and serviced apartment has emergency call buttons in the main bedroom and bathroom. If you press a button, it alerts one of our Village Care Coordinators, who can respond quickly 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
For added peace of mind, a Vital-Call pendant can be carried with you while you're at home and is also monitored around the clock by the Village Care Coordinator.
If you ever want a bit more support, private nursing services can assist with nursing requirements and day-to-day tasks, personal care, domestic duties, shopping and appointments.
Our on-site Village Care Coordinator can recommend short-term and emergency care, or emotional support when it's needed.
Kenilworth Gardens is privately owned and operated, and managed by passionate and experienced professionals whose role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the village.
A sense of security matters in this season, for your peace of mind and your loved ones'. Our role is to ensure the village is reasonably secure, with a trained team on site and emergency call systems in place should you need help.
For your protection and ours, all new residents are required to have a medical assessment provided by your doctor. To assist, you'll also need our Medical Assessment Form completed by your doctor prior to the consultation.
We understand pets are family and will always do our best to accommodate them at Kenilworth Gardens. Our commitment to the peace, comfort and safety of all residents collectively guides our discretionary decisions. As such, if you're planning on bringing a cat or dog, prior approval is required. Most pets are welcome, and indeed are a valued part of our community.
You may keep a fish or small caged bird at any time without requiring approval.
Very large or known dangerous breeds are not permitted.
We pride ourselves on our warm, vibrant community and the rich social fabric of our village. Residents consult with other residents and management on social and recreational activities.
Gas and electricity are individually metered for each villa and unit, and are included in the service fee for serviced apartments. Residents arrange their own connection for utilities and telephone services.
