Entry Requirements

To become a resident at Kenilworth Gardens you must be aged over 55 years. If your partner doesn’t satisfy the entry requirements, but you do, that’s fine. As long as one of you satisfies the requirements you are both eligible. If something happens to you, your partner still retains all their residency rights.

Village Management

Kenilworth Gardens is managed by professionals and is privately owned and operated.


It is our job to ensure that the Village is reasonably secure. We have trained staff on site and emergency call systems in place should you need help.

Emergency Services

Every Villa, Unit and Serviced Apartment have emergency call buttons in the main bedroom and bathroom, which flash a signal to our Village Care Co-Ordinator  which is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Vita-Call pendants carried with you at all times whilst in your own home, is also monitored by the Village Care Co.

Nursing Services

Private nursing services can assist with any nursing requirements, personal care, domestic duties, shopping, appointments, even support and encouragement. Our onsite Village Care Coordinator provides short-term and emergency care, as well as emotional support.

Medical Assessment

For your and our protection we require that all new residents have a medical assessment with our nominated doctor. To assist our doctor you are also required to have our Medical Assessment Form filled in by your own doctor prior to your consultation.


You may keep a fish or a small caged bird in your premises at any time, without our consent. To keep a cat or a dog as a pet, prior consent must be provided. Each case will be considered on its merits. Big or heavy dogs, or known dangerous breeds of dogs will not be allowed.

Residents Social Committee

Residents are elected to form the Residents Social Committee. Their role is to consult with other residents and management on all social/recreational activities.


Gas and electricity are individually metered for each villa and unit, and inclusive in the service fee for Serviced Apartments. Residents make their own arrangements for connection of these utilities and telephone services.
